Job Purpose
The Transport Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing and monitoring transportation activities, primarily supporting the Italian business while providing backup support across EMEA when needed.
The role focuses on ensuring shipments are executed efficiently, service levels are maintained and customer needs are met. This includes coordinating carriers, monitoring transport execution, managing operational issues, controlling transportation costs and supporting day-to-day transportation activities.
The position plays a key role in maintaining operational continuity, supporting a high-volume workload and identifying practical opportunities to improve transportation efficiency and service performance.

Manage daily transportation operations for the Italian business
Drive transportation efficiency and cost control

Organization & Team Structure
The position reports to the Transport Manager and is part of the EMEA Transport organization.
The role works closely with logistics operations, customer service, sales teams, warehouses, carriers and other internal stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of transportation activities.
The position has no direct reports.
