Senior Account Manager

Job Purpose: 

Driving the growth of the company’s market presence in the plastic packaging sector by identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities across beverages, wines, spirits, preserves, and food industries. The role is responsible for building strong client relationships from scratch, managing the full end-to-end sales cycle, and positioning the company as a trusted partner by delivering tailored packaging solutions—leveraging access to leading European manufacturers. Ultimately, the objective is to expand into new markets, increase revenue, and contribute to the company’s rapid expansion through a proactive, solution-oriented sales approach.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the Beauty & Personal Care segment and General Plastics (F&B, Industrial) sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, contract manufacturers
  • Promote and sell a wide range of packaging solutions tailored to cosmetic and personal care products
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product proposals
  • Understand market trends (sustainability, design, innovation) and translate them into opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and successfully close deals
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings closures – for clients in the beverages, wines, spirits, preserves, and food sectors.
  • Build commercial relationships from scratch, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to delivery, and work directly with top European manufacturers.
  • You will not just sell products – you will provide packaging solutions.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Sales within packaging, industrial, cosmetics, or pharma with a proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding targets
  • Demonstrated success in hunting new business and generating significant revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of the Beauty & Personal Care market (preferred) and Plastics market (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in Romanian and English (must have)
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with CRM systems (SalesForce preferred)
